•    A constant level of pain in the pelvic or groin area – in men this may be located in the testes or the penis, the anus, and even the lower abdominal area and lower back as well. The pain may also shift or move throughout the day while it increases or decreases in severity.

•    Pain or discomfort during urination – often patients have a sense of urgency or pain when passing urine, they may experience some hesitancy with their bladder, or have a weak urine stream.

•    Fatigue – most patients have a constant feeling of fatigue or a general achiness in their bodies.

•    Sexual issues – in men there may be issues around impotence, a worsening of the pain immediately after intercourse, and a discomfort or worsening of pain at ejaculation.
